GMC experts are scanning the European Continent to identify and obtain the highest price-quality ratio at the most affordable rates without compromising treatment quality of patient safety. To provide you with this service we carefully make our selections on the following basis:
- Country selection: GMC selects countries where the cost of living and services is inferior to those prevalent in Switzerland. We target countries having a 60 or lower cost of living index based on OECD studies. This ensures that everyone who will treat and look after you (your surgeon, other health care professionals, even your driver) will relative to his country of residence, be highly paid yet significantly less than Switzerland. Rents paid are very low compared to rental levels found in Switzerland. In this manner, we ensure that you pay only for the service you receive avoiding lifestyle premiums usually associated with medical costs in many countries.
- Hospital selection: GMC only works with internationally accredited large hospitals situated in large metropolitan areas. Since these hospitals are designed to serve a large volume of patients flying in from all around the world, they can comfortably invest in the newest technologies; yet offer the best service at affordable rates.
- Extensive negotiation: Due to the size of GMC’s operation, we can negotiate the most attractive and competitive rates, and exclusive add-ons (like free hotel-hospital transfers, longer guarantees, etc.), and ensure uncompromising patient rights (i.e. changing or selecting your doctor).
These benefits of our extensive pan-European research offer you the highest quality at a much more affordable rate than in your country of residence.

Yes. This is always our first consideration. Your safety and your comfort come first and are the cornerstone of our service. We choose those countries based on the application of these criteria first. The same applies to city selection drilling down to the selection of districts.
This is the first and probably the most important question that comes to mind when talking about what we do. Any medical surgery or procedure, no matter where it’s carried out, entails some risk. To reduce this risk, these are the criteria we apply to choose our partner hospitals:
- Certifications and accreditations of the clinic
- Track record of quality service, patient testimonials
- Track record of medical staff
- Qualities of your facilitator
That is why we select for you global healthcare groups, internationally accredited hospitals, and the best surgeons.
